For five years in a row, I threw an

underwater images of the doggy paddle.

only shoot in black-and-white.
I rarely crop!
I stronglybelieve that the image should be correctly
composed inside the viewfinder while on

My explanation was simple,
“Because you don’t get to pick the paint
I believe the painting should enhance an
aesthetically balanced and well composed image.
If you take away the color, the image
should still be able to stand
on its own merit as a beautiful B&W photograph.
